Instructions for Abstract Submissions
20th Reach to Recovery International Breast Cancer Support Conference
Date: 26 - 28 June 2026
Venue: Sunway University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The Conference Secretariat is accepting abstracts for concurrent session and poster presentations.
Preferred topics for abstracts include:
- •Keeping up with changes in peer support, advocacy, and research
- •Exercise and breast cancer
- •Incorporating patient navigation and peer navigation
- •Diet and nutrition
- •Advanced breast cancer
- •Managing a Reach to Recovery programme
- •Patient navigation by breast care nurses and community-based volunteers
- •Marginalized or diverse communities
- •Long-term side effects of breast cancer
- •Returning to work after breast cancer
- •Managing co-morbidities and reproductive health
- •Legal rights of individuals with breast cancer
Successful abstract submitters will be informed in their acceptance letters whether they are invited to present an oral or poster presentation. A few abstract submitters may be invited to present rapid-fire oral presentations rather than traditional oral or poster presentations. Detailed instructions on the types of presentation will be provided in the acceptance letters.

Travel Grants
The Conference Secretariat is offering a limited number of travel grants to potential conference delegates who would not otherwise be able to attend.
Who Can Apply?
- Breast cancer survivors from developing countries
- Active volunteers or advocates in their home country
- Must have submitted a successful abstract for oral presentation
